So it has been a while since I have posted. Jennifer is able to do so many things now. I thought I would share with you all a few of these things. She can now:
- Crawl
- Cruise along the couch
- Walk with her ride-on plane and stroller
- Feed herself meals (her favorites are baby ravioli, peas, and cheese)
- Drink from a sippy cup (we are almost done with bottles)
- Climb one or two steps
- Stand on her own for about 30 seconds, or until she decides that she needs to sit down
- Climb on the own dishwasher door
- Understand the words bunny, kitty kat, and daddy
- Sign "night-night" and "all done"
It's hard to believe that her first birthday is just around the corner. One thing I have realized as a parent is that birthdays take on a whole new meaning now. They truly are a celebration of life, not just another day of the year where you get presents and to feel special. I no longer mind hearing stories about when I was born or when I was a child, because I hope to share those stories with Jennifer when she gets older.
